Who this is for

This process is for FishDay users who want to close their account, stop using the service, and remove or anonymise personal data associated with that account.

How to request deletion

FishDay does not currently provide an in-app self-service deletion button. To verify ownership, please use the email address connected to your account whenever possible.

1. Sign in to your FishDay account, if you still have access, and confirm which email address is registered.
2. Send a deletion request from that account email address to admin@fishday.pro.
3. If you cannot sign in, email us anyway and include the account email address plus any details that help us verify ownership.

What we delete or anonymise

After verification, we delete or anonymise account data that is no longer needed to provide the service.

• Account profile details such as name and email address.
• Saved fishing locations, best days, notes, forecasts, and other user-generated content connected to the account.
• App preferences, notification tokens, and similar account settings.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or payment compliance purposes.

• Payment, subscription, invoice, and tax records handled by our payment providers or required by law.
• Security logs, backups, and abuse-prevention records for a limited period.
• Aggregated or anonymised analytics that no longer identify you.

Processing time

We aim to confirm and complete eligible deletion requests within 30 days. If we need more information to verify the account or comply with legal obligations, we will contact you by email.
